Tsunami

It’s not the words which cause the pain,
It’s the silence which engulf the peace,
It’s not the darkness which hurts the eyes,
It’s the blinding light which tears through,
A story unsaid yet a dream come true,
Drowning in the undertow of the waves,
Gasping for breath and reaching out to the skies,
The whole life playing itself back in a second,
All those moments, all those memories,
I will forever remember your face,
Moist in the light and your eyes asking me why,
It was never you- the reason to stop,
It was only me trying not to drown in your tsunami.

Ping Pay

The last month has been absorbed by exams, but the fun hasn’t gone down even a bit. In the same time, there were two bloggers’ meets organized by Blogadda, and in this post I shall be covering the first one.

Venue: Axis Bank, Corporate Office. Axis Bank Limited, Bombay Dyeing Mills Compound, Pandurang Budhkar Marg, Worli, Mumbai – 400 025

The meet was organized by Axis bank in order to introduce their new multi-social payment app which is aimed at transferring money in an easy and fun way. Mixing social media with the transfer of money is what they call innovation, with none of the other online payment apps being so direct and easy for use.

So let us talk about Ping Pay, which has been made to make your experience of transferring money all the more easy and fun in ways too. The interface is extremely simple and it does not hold any hidden features which any lay person would not benefit from in their 1st trial and all it needs is a simple registration.

With the social connect being initiated, with each transfer and request to obtain money or a mobile recharge, a customized message/ audio/ video can be sent to the receiver as a personal note. The money can be sent across various mediums like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, etc, with support for other mildly less active mediums in the pipeline.

There is no hidden cost on the usage of this application, and that’s not all! Money can be sent and received at all times, and with an existing login, the process can take around 10 minutes on the higher side. It saves the user the time and energy of passing on their IFSC code, account number, and all the data required to transfer money via net banking or NEFT.

Now comes the big question- is it safe enough for use?

To be honest, the application is very safe. Axis Bank has been renowned for their customer support and yet again they keep their word by making this app as one of the safest mediums for money transfer via the internet.

On registering, the user has to enter a MPIN which is private and cannot be saved on the mobile device, meaning that a misplaced phone does not open your account to the world. For every transaction a random and unique ping code is generated which has to be shared from the sender to the receiver. The transaction is valid for 15 days, and can be accessed in that time period. The limit for a transaction is Rs. 50,000 and that is also the restricted amount for a single day, as a sender.

Axis Bank has created this app with the help of Fastacash, which is a Singapore based firm which specializes in such matters. This app saves the time and energy of every net banking user and makes transactions all the more easier, and that too without the wastage of a single penny.

Alvida

Kuch aadatein hai jo jaati nahi,
Kuch pal hai jo vapas aate nahi,
Uss chupi hui hasi ka khilna,
Jaise baarish mein lehrate ful,
Unn samundar ki lehro mein haath dhare chalne,
Aur kandhe pe rakhkar sar unn aasuon ko dabana,
Par bass chuka hai sirf tumhara chehra inn aankhon mein,
Aur voh aakhri shabd jo kaha tumne- alvida.

Kho jaana hai firse mujhe tumhari aankhon ke andheron mein,
Beh jaana hai firse tumhari yaadon ke khazane mein,
Jeena hai firse unn lamho ko,
Jo karib hai dil se, jo paas hai mann ke,
Hai waqt ka dariya samaya hua hatheli mein,
Nahi hai toh sirf ek- tum,
Khoya hun tumhari duniya mein,
Aa jaate voh pal fir se, agar kaha na hota alvida.

Survival

Staring into the sky with its gems shimmering,
The lights running past fiercely indulged in battle,
The wind blowing through the hair,
The unheard bickering of those ants trudging past,
Similar to the rumbling of the mountains, and the spray from the seas,
From the cackle of the birds, to the staccatos we produce,
A race not to finish, a race to remain,
The extinguished farther from the distinguished,
It’s not about anxiety but of anguish,
The heart thuds in the silence, it beats in the darkness,
That’s all there is, for survival.

Confined

The hole seems to get smaller with every passing second,
The air gets thinner as moments weave themselves into memories,
The light soon vanishes into the vivid darkness,
The bars hold me yet not in entirety,
The wandering mind roams on the meandering easel of thought,
So wild, so fresh, so new, all in its own way, and so different,
Subject to suppression and oppression it waits,
Just to make its way to the surface so abstract,
The bars make way for the weird walls of society,
A smile at fate, rather a snigger or a smirk,
Not loathing but a desire to explore beyond the fence,
To venture out beyond the walls of imagination,
To prance in the meadow of the unknown,
Just a wish to break free from the bonds, and to not be kept confined.
