More Than A Friend

It all began on the day we faced each other,

Two magnets coming together,

Not so different we realized with time,

But not completely the same we are too,

Me the midget, you the giant, just not that crude,

A doer, yet a thinker, on the line is where you live,

From a far away land you come,

Eating and munching and binging all the time,

Cooking is just consolation for you,

It’s just about learning and experimenting,

All you want is new- an experience, a moment,

Dancing and singing, and laughing, in lectures and otherwise,

Lessons you teach in seconds, to be absorbed deep,

Of life and of it all, a gem you are,

Legends are crafted, unlike you a gift, a prodigy,

Rhymes are yours, so I owe you this end,

Shadow calling chuck it, you're more than just a friend.
