This is an apology,
To you, to one and all,
A reason to run from prose,
And on poetry to fall,
Something so deep,
It’s a big secret to keep,
I hope there’s a reward,
Something to reap,
For this leap of faith,
A jump, from time to time,
And the wish, to do,
Something new, forever,
To be so random, and so weird,
I apologize, a word said,
For trying, to be different,
To change, with time,
To mix prose, with rhyme,
To not make sense, every damn time,
Now is that a crime, no!
Yet I say, an apology,
For the mistakes, the tries,
For the failed attempts,
For the tolerance, intolerance,
All I say is sorry.
