Move on..

It is an eternity,

Since I lost you in the race,

I lost your presence,

And the sight of your lovely face.

Valuable you were to me,

And special as well,

It was you I cared about,

The rest all went to hell.

These nights are sleepless,

And your thoughts endless,

As I hold on to you I realize,

That I am very helpless.

Sitting hungry all day,

I pay penance for my mistakes,

And for all the things I did,

Which caused our bond to experience the brakes.

It does not matter to you,

Like it once did,

And you enjoy life the way you want,

Carefree, like a small kid.

Time has evolved and changed a lot,

And so have the rumors and stories,

I never believe what they say,

But all I have for consolation is memories.

I remember your hands in mine,

And your hearty soul,

I remember your anger and mine,

Which took its toll.

The wait goes on,

A year in the way,

I have not yet moved on,

Is that all I can say?
