Mumbai:
Humshakals
is supposed to be withdrawn from multiplexes and cinema halls as the weekend
ends. This was decided after a man reportedly went mad after seeing the film
and started acting weirdly. There are also reports that torrents for the film
will also be banned, and seeding would be taken as criminal a charge as mass
murder and terrorism.
Anurag
Pagaria, who is an engineering student went to see the film by Sajid Khan on
the first day, and as soon as he came out, he felt that everyone around was
looking like him.
“As
soon as he came home, he began looking around nervously, and even washed his
face several times. Then finally he asked me why I was looking like him. His father
and I took him to various doctors until we realized it was the movie that had
affected him,” said Anurag’s mother, wiping tears from her eyes.
When
asked about why he went for the movie, Anurag said, “I had seen Himmatwala
similarly. All my friends were teasing me for that debacle, so I went for this
movie. I had hoped to shatter their teasing by saying that I saw a hit movie
first day; but then, this happened.”
Anurag’s
friends were asked to comment on this, but their comments were filled with
words which cannot be used here.
A
police complaint was later lodged, and it has been decided, much to the relief
of the general public, that this film shall be removed from cinemas. Anurag was
later heard cursing the director, and even threatened to chop off his head in
order to check the brain with which the movie was made.
Meanwhile,
the director is busy working on a sequel which shall have even Chunkey Pandey
and the heroines in triple roles. The actors’ roles might also be expanded to
have 6 Humshakals each.
PS:
This post has been written for the sole purpose of tickling a funny bone, and
is not meant to hurt or harm any sentiments, especially about watching the
movie, which is a laugh riot due to the PJs.
PPS:
A special thanks to Anurag for allowing the use of his name, and for providing
his experience firsthand to me. How much ever may we tease you, no one can beat
your spirit brother. Keep smiling forever like this mate..!
Even this can be understood from the promos itself. Poor director and courtesy to the audience :D
